Personal update

I've been in typically poor communication as of late, so I figured I'd let the handful of people who read this know what's going on.

A couple of weeks back, I woke up woozy, and just got progressively worse throughout the day. Since then, most of the yucky symptoms have faded out, but I still have bouts of extreme dizziness and a tendency to suddenly collapse with little warning and no provocation, as well as poor concentration, the odd bout of blurred vision, and worse memory problems than usual.

I've had an MRI on my head, so we've ruled out MS, aneurysm, stroke, and brain tumor—all good things to rule out—but I've got a slew of more tests coming up in the next couple of weeks. Things we're testing for include a prolapsed heart valve, inner ear issues, and an EEG to make sure signals are firing properly in my brain. I did see a physical therapist yesterday who confessed herself baffled as to what needs to happen with me, but did determine that I seem to have some compression on the carotid artery.

I'll try to keep everyone informed.
